Because you already know that your greatest practice is off the mat.
We’ve tried to apply the principles of yoga to our lives: vegetarianism, 40 days of mantra, cleanses, meditations, etc.
However, with just yoga philosophy, I still didn’t know how to eat, how to handle my emotions, how to make decisions that serve my energetic state, or how to have healthy relationships.
Ayurveda gave me these skills.
Ayurveda is how I began to live my life like one big yoga practice – present, connected, and healing.
Ayurveda allows us to customize our choices in life, the way yoga allows us to customize our practice to what’s needed that day.
Sometimes, I forget to use my tools, and my awareness. We all do, especially when we’re depleted. Ayurveda taught me this, and about my inherent cyclical nature.
It’s wisdom is like a grandmother, so accepting of who and where we are, and always willing to offer support. This unconditional approach took root within my mind, and plugged me into my intuition.
My hope with this book is for you to experience this empowerment, and magic of energetic awareness and self-healing.
